What this viewport size means
1366 × 768 represents the preset browser viewport in CSS pixels, not necessarily the physical display resolution. DPR 1 is reference metadata: the tester does not change pixel density or emulate the device OS or browser engine.
Portrait and landscape
Portrait is an artificial swap of the dimensions for testing a narrow, tall window. It does not imply that a laptop display can physically rotate.
What to check
Inspect the combined height of the header, toolbar and table controls: they can push working rows below the fold. Check that a dialog bottom button remains reachable and sticky elements behave correctly while scrolling.
How to test this size
Open the tester, enter a URL and select “Test website”. In the workspace, choose “Add device” and select Laptop if it is not already active. Its default size is 1366 × 768 CSS px. Rotate swaps the dimensions. The link below opens the tester without automatically selecting a preset.
