iPad Mini viewport — 768 × 1024 CSS px
A tablet preset between phone layouts and larger workspaces. It is useful where an extra column is tempting but may still be too cramped.

What this viewport size means
768 × 1024 represents the preset browser viewport in CSS pixels, not necessarily the physical display resolution. DPR 2 is reference metadata: the tester does not change pixel density or emulate the device OS or browser engine.
Portrait and landscape
Landscape gives the grid more space. Compare column count, image sizing and filter placement without assuming a tablet is always used in the same orientation.
What to check
Inspect card widths and the main column after a sidebar appears. If filters and results compete for space, try a collapsible panel. Long headings should remain readable as the layout moves from one column to two.
How to test this size
Open the tester, enter a URL and select “Test website”. In the workspace, choose “Add device” and select iPad Mini if it is not already active. Its default size is 768 × 1024 CSS px. Rotate swaps the dimensions. The link below opens the tester without automatically selecting a preset.
